Carrefour has launched in 2009 its own sorting logo on the organic “eco-planet” products, validated by “Eco-emballages”.
In 2014, Carrefour propose his pictogram for all our distributor brands for organic and non organic in addition with the “Triman” logotype per anticipation of the future law in France about the selective sorting (product and packaging).
This system is present on-pack for 13 700 products. With this system Carrefour encourages responsible use of resources for packaging and promotes the consumer to have the right action for the end of life packaging on-pack information. Carrefour is the first company in the EU to create a selective system in 4 countries (France, Italy, Belgium and Spain).
