This toolkit contains tips and advice from previous finalists and winners of the prestigious European Green Capital Award to help your city submit a solid application and make the most of the process to generate long-term benefits. It guides cities through each of the necessary steps to becoming the next European Green Capital, from the decision to apply to the work of collecting the necessary data, writing different sections of the application and preparing for the presentation to the jury.
