Attend ETV ConverStation at World Circular Economy Forum - Finland

Learn about the EU ETV scheme at the New InnoNet Project Matchmaking Event on 6 June, an official side event of the World Circular Economy Forum.

A European Commission representative will present ETV at one of the ‘ConverStation’ sessions of the event:

ETV: a tool supporting the circular economy

Are you a green technology developer and wondering how to successfully accelerate market uptake of your innovation? Then, the ConverStation by the EU Environmental Technology Verification (ETV) scheme is the session for you!

Kick-starting our economy’s transformation into a circular one requires technological innovation. However, market penetration can be a significant challenge for innovators of environmental technologies as they need to convince investors and customers of the advantages and reliability of their technologies.

The EU ETV scheme provides technology manufacturers a high-quality, third-party verification of the performance of their innovative environmental technology. Each successful verification is issued a Statement of Verification by an accredited Verification Body, which summarises the actual performance of the technology and the results of the tests performed.

ETV helps niche technology developers, in particular SMEs, to differentiate themselves from competitors, grasp the opportunities of the circular economy and credibly introduce new technologies on the market. ETV can also prove compliance with legislation or underpin a bid in public tendering.

The ETV scheme is currently active in three technology areas: water treatment and monitoring; energy; and materials, waste and resources.

Attend our ConverStation session to find out more about how this unique scheme will boost the market uptake of your innovative solution and help you contribute to the success of the circular economy!

The side event is organised by the Institute for Ecology of Industrial Areas, PNO Consultants, and VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland.

Registration: i.ratman-klosinska@ietu.pl or m.korcz@ietu.pl by 15 May 2017 (max. 100 participants).
