Warm wishes from the LIFE team. Before ringing in the New Year, we get into the winter spirit with projects working on warm clothes, reindeer, pine trees, and a look back on 2017.
This issue of LIFEnews looks forward to EU Green Week 2018. It also reports on LIFE's latest contributions to the circular economy, notably supporting events at COP23, Ecomondo and the European Week of Waste Reduction.
This edition of LIFEnews takes us to Bonn, where COP23 is taking place and LIFE projects will be showcased during a side event, organised by EASME. We look into progress scrubbing Europe's air clean, cutting-edge techniques to restore its ecosystems, and an EU call to help kick-start the blue economy.

This issue of LIFEnews offers an initiation to build your own projects. We listen to LIFE’s own Angelo Salsi on how to set up Integrated Projects, and look into an initiative set up by the European Commission to help SMEs working in the circular economy expand.
We also call in on Barcelona for the latest updates on urban climate action, remind EU conservationists to enter the 2018 competition for the Natura 2000 Award, and invite everyone to take out their camera this summer and snap a shot of a local LIFE project for the Europe in My Region photo competition.
