Jonas Byström, Senior Engineer, Water and Waste Management, Projects Directorate, European Investment Bank
Following a M.Sc. Degree in Civil Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology, Gothenburg, Sweden, Mr. Byström worked as environmental and waste management consultant for almost 20 years.
In 2007 he joined JASPERS in Luxembourg as waste management specialist and transferred to the Water & Waste Management Division at European Investment Bank in 2010. At EIB Mr. Byström carries out project due diligence and monitoring of solid waste and water projects, supervision and co-ordination of technical assistance contracts, and sector development work.Mr. Byström has worked in 40 countries.
