
Martin Brocklehurst is an experienced Executive Manager with 14 years experience in the oil and gas business and 13 years experience as an Executive Manager within the UK Environment Agency. He is an experienced multi-disciplinary environmental scientist. He is an expert in EU and UK environmental regulation, waste and resource management, ecosystems management, environmental impact assessment and health safety & environment auditing. He has had a central role in shaping and implementing waste policy in the UK. He is currently operating as an Independent Environmental Adviser now well known for developing a series of successful international EU funded partnerships testing new environmental ideas. Martin is a professional member of CIWM (2007), ISWA (2011), the Energy Institute (1992), the Landscape Institute (former examiner and member since 1978) , Fellow of the RSA (2006) and Member of the Aldersgate Group (2012). He is also currently a member of the CIWM Midlands Chapter, Science & Technology Committee and Regulatory Technical Advisory Board and regularly lectures on regulatory and strategic waste and resource management.
