Workshop on Environmental Technology Verification – What and Why? 10th July 2013 in Swindon (UK)
The workshop explained the concept of ETV to UK SMEs and stakeholders and was attended by around 60 delegates who were keen to hear about the benefits of this scheme. EU funding is available to support verification.
The 1st ETV Stakeholder Forum met in Brussels on 19 December 2012. 55 persons participated in the Forum and debated on key aspects of the ETV pilot programme and on the objectives and role of the Forum. The summary of Forum discussions is available here and presentations can be downloaded here. Stakeholders interested in joining the Forum can flag their interest by e-mail to ENV-ETV@ec.europa.eu.
The ETV pilot programme was present at Pollutec, Lyon on 28-30 November 2012. The pilot programme was presented at the stand of the EU Eco-innovation Action Plan and at the Forum 'Techniques d'avenir' on 29 November.
The 5th International ETV Forum took place in Seoul, Korea, on 12-13 September 2012. The Forum theme was 'the role of ETV in Eco-innovation' and was the object of 3 sessions on 'ETV policies for Eco-innovation in each country', 'the role of ETV for securing Green Economy' and 'Global perspective of ETV - Implementation and Examples'.

ETV Conference and Workshop, Brussels 22-24 May 2012
This was the first European conference on ETV since the launch of the EU ETV Pilot Programme in December 2011, providing up to date and comprehensive information about the programme and about the state of preparation of some participating EU member states. As the international acceptance of the verification results is one of the main demands of the technology suppliers, the event included an update on international developments on ETV and on the progress in elaborating a framework for international cooperation and mutual recognition.
The event was initiated by the EU FP7 project AdvanceETV. All presentations are now available on the AdvanceETV website
The European Environmental Technologies Verification Scheme – Get prepared to compete effectively ! Poznan, Poland, November 24th 2011
The conference was organised by the Polish Platform of Environmental Technologies coordinated by the Institute for Ecology of Industrial Areas in Katowice in cooperation with the Ministry of Environment, Polish Centre of Accreditation, the monthly “Ecomanager” and Poznan International Fairs. It provided an overview of the upcoming ETV system, its role and benefits for vendors, clients, research centres and administration as a new market tool for eco-innovative technologies, and informed the organisations interested in becoming verification bodies about the requirements of the accreditation procedure.

Helping eco-innovations to reach the market - European and international perspectives on ETV - conference and workshop, Brussels 24-26 May 2011
Helping eco-innovations to enter the market is an important target for the environment, the European economy and Europe in a global market. The research coordination action AdvanceETV, funded by FP7, organised a conference to introduce the EU ETV pilot programme and its main document, the 'General Verification Protocol', and to outline pathways for cooperation and mutual recognition of ETV at international level. The workshop addressed specific aspects related to environmental impacts, sustainability assessment and market benefits in more details.

ETV Information Day in Poland; Warsaw, December 17th 2010
The Polish Platform of Environmental Technologies in cooperation with the Ministry of Environment organised a Stakeholder Forum "Mechanisms for promotion and support of Polish environmental technologies" in Warsaw on 17th December 2010. The presentations (in Polish) can be found here.
ETV Information Event; Brussels, November 8th 2010
The information event gathered around 60 technology proposers, representatives of NGOs and national missions, organisations interested to become Verification Bodies and others.
Five presentations were delivered by industry experts as well as our in-house ETV expert team on the policy framework, operational settings and first-hand experience of ETV results.
