The Weather Show, presented by Carol Kirkwood, was created by the BBC Weather Centre to explain the science behind the weather and climate change. This is a collection of clips from 2008 where it was explained what climate change was and where a look at some of the – sometimes controversial – arguments around it was taken.

 
     
 
     
 

Every Sunday at 6:45 pm on Realitatea TV (Romanian news channel, Elena Cordoneanu presents "Saptamana de vreme", which translates to Weekly Weather. In 2008 on the occasion of the EMS Annual Meeting & ECAC, the broadcast "Saptamana de vreme" was granted the EMS Outreach & Communication Award, as an example of best practice in communicating science.

 
     
 
     
 

In this video (9 mb) Philippe Verdier presents the weather forecast on France's BFM-TV. One of the country's leading weathermen, Philippe is involved in major events on climate change – like last December's Bali conference - and reports on them during his weather slots.

In this video (6 mb), Jaroslaw Kret explains (in Polish) about the threat of climate change and gives a few tips on how each and every one of us can help combat climate change. The video was broadcasted the very next day after the Communicating Climate Change Conference' in February 2007, where it was decided to form the Climate Broadcasters Network - Europe. Mr. Kret informed the audience of the biggest Polish public TV channel (TVP1) about the objectives and roles of the new network.

Tomas Molina has prepared a series of programmes on climate change, that were presented in TV3 during the week dedicated to climate change - 16-22 April 2007. During this week, the TV3 audience could learn a lot about climate change, its impact and the latest science (4th IPCC Assessment Report) from many videos and interviews with experts. They could also join a web-based community that help them to reduce their emission of CO2. Examples of the material used (all in Catalan):
