Mr. Abel Flores Famades, Meteorologist, - Canal Meteo
Abel Flores began his degree in Physics at the University of Barcelona after his high school studies. While there, he had his first working relationship with the world of the television in TV3, in the meteorology department. At the same time he began work at SAM (Audiovisual Weather Services).
Since then, he has been working at SAM. It produces content for digital media, Internet, mobile devices, press and TV. Among many other things, it also make Canal Meteo, the only weather channel in Spain.
Abel Flores also has a master’s degree in meteorology. He has worked as a meteorologist in Canal 3/24 (a news TV channel), and as a teacher
at a high school.

Tomàs Molina holds a university degree in physics. He has worked and works as a chief
meteorologist at
Televisio de Catalunya
and advisor to the director of services audiovisuales de Meteorologia, SAM. This Company produces Canal Méteo (the
Spanish weather channel) and weather information to the internet, press, TV channels, mobile phones...
He is member of the Board of Directors of the Catalan Meteorological Service, chairman of the International Association of Broadcast Meteorologist and of the Catalan Council for Communication of Science, C4.
Tomàs Molina was also appointed teacher of weather
forecast at the Master on Meteorology at the
University
of
Barcelona
He has published four books: one referred to the environment and
three for children about weather, astronomy and earth physics stories.
