Mr. Josep Tomās I Bosch,
TV weather presenter - RTVA
Mr. Tomās is from Andorra and has been a weather presenter on Radio & Televisiķ dAndorra since 2001 (RTVA, S.A.) www.rtvasa.ad. He holds a university degree in Geology (Barcelona, Spain) and a Masters in Environnement des Sciences de la Terre (Perpignan, France). At the moment he is obtaining a second masters degree in meteorology in Physics University.
Mr. Tomās is chairman of the Andorra Meteorologist Association (A.M.A.C.A), www.amaca.org, which is a member of the European Meteorological Society (E.M.S). Every year, the Association of Meteorology organises two events of great prestige on meteorology with the collaboration of diverse national bodies. Their efforts are directed at spreading the word about meteorological sciences in Andorra, a highly mountainous country, and on how climate change affects a region where the snow is a highly valued good. |
