Inspection and Control measures for authorised products

The following table provides information on the measures EU Member States have taken with regard to the inspection and control of GMOs authorised under Directive 90/220/EEC and Directive 2001/18/EC on the deliberate release into the environment of genetically modified organisms, repealing Directive 90/220/EEC.

Member States are requested to inform and update the Commission of any changes to their data, and the Commission will in turn update the table.

Member States, where no cultivation is taking place, are also requested to provide the Commission with the required information, since information relating to the control of unauthorised cultivation and the unauthorised import of GMOs for purposes other than cultivation is deemed valuable.
