About:
The CB RES Transparency Platform is a public information system available to every EU citizen in line with the Delegated Regulation (EU) 2022/342 (Art. 11) that provides detailed information about cross-border projects in the field of renewable energy (CB RES projects), including:
The CB RES Transparency Platform provides up to date information on the geographic location for each of the CB RES projects in the CB RES list adopted by the European Commission. CB RES projects are projects based on a cooperation agreement between two or more Member States or arrangements between one or more Member States and one or more third countries as set out in Articles 8, 9, 11 and 13 of Directive (EU) 2018/2001 in the planning or deployment of renewable energy. The Commission launches a call for applications to have a project selected as a CB RES project at least once per year.
For each CB RES project, the project fiche and implementation plan are published. In addition, the completed projects are displayed. The underlying grid is based on information related to electric power networks in Europe, Russia and the Middle East from S&P Global PLATTS Geospatial Database.
The infrastructure types shown in the CB RES Transparency Platform include all the RES technologies included in Directive (EU) 2018/2001 as well as other elements eligible to be part of a CB RES project.
Detailed information on projects and actions supported by CEF-Energy is published on CINEA website:
