The project is led and managed by Navarra de Suelo y Vivienda, S.A. (NASUVINSA) in consortium with a Department of the Government of Navarre. The project itself, aims to carry out an integral energy renovation process in social districts erected in the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s with very basic construction systems and heavy energy shortages. The districts are located in the capital of Navarre (Spain), Pamplona, and the action pretends to be a regional strategy against climate change via energy saving and use of renewable resources (biomass).Efidistrict Fwd aims to supply Heating and Domestic Hot Water to a community of both public and private buildings concerning an overall population of 20.000 people approximately throughout the figure of an Energy System Company (ESCO).
In this page:
- Foster efficient energy consumption with local renewable resources (Biomass Fuel) and generate a dynamic effect to spread it to surrounding areas.- Get a proven and replicable methodology to apply in the process or Energy District Renovation.- Articulate an economic/financial model integrating the participation of an ESCO, public administrations, financial institutions, private owners….etc.- Promote Green House Emission reduction avoiding aprox. 3.993 tCO2e/Year (1st Phase)- Promote efficiency measures with energy savings around 541 toe/year (1st Phase)
