The next EU Energy Day will take place on 16 November 2017 in Bonn, Germany, as part of the COP 23 UN Climate Change Conference. It will focus on the theme of clean energy solutions for decarbonisation, economic growth and jobs, as well as on the new Clean Energy for EU Islands initiative and on ongoing collaboration between the EU and Africa in sustainable energy investment. More information about registering for the event will be available soon.
The event is the latest in a series of EU Energy Days, which began at COP 22 in Marrakech, Morocco in November 2016 and continued in Abu Dhabi, UAE in January 2017 and Astana, Kazakhstan in July 2017. The key question asked at the most recent Energy Day in Kazakhstan was how countries can work together to share the latest clean energy solutions for buildings and cities. You can watch video highlights from the event here.
