On 24 July, the latest EU Energy Day will take place at EXPO 2017. Energy stakeholders from all over the world will meet to discuss the technologies driving the clean energy transition, with a special focus on buildings and cities. The first of the day's three panels will be on 'Clean energy solutions for buildings'. Registration for the event is still open.
The discussion of clean energy and buildings will bring together experts from Europe and beyond. They are due to consider topics including nearly zero-energy buildings, the use of 3D printing in energy-efficient building construction, and integrating solar panels into new buildings. They will also emphasise the importance of pooling knowledge and expertise internationally in the construction of buildings that are energy efficient and make maximum use of renewable energy.
