EU Refining Forum

EU Refining Forum

2 February 2017

At the seventh meeting of the EU Refining Forum, participants will exchange views on a variety of topics, including the future of oil in the energy mix, the revision of the EU Emissions Trading System (ETS), the low-emission mobility strategy, and the implications these initiatives have on the refining sector. The program includes presentations by high-level representatives from the industry, the European Parliament, EU countries and the International Energy Agency. Commissioner Miguel Arias Cañete will deliver a keynote speech during the event.

The EU Refining Forum was established in 2012. The aim of the Forum is to provide an opportunity for the oil industry, EU countries, Members of the European Parliament, the Commission and other stakeholders to come together and discuss planned and future regulatory proposals with potentially significant impacts on the EU oil refining industry and on the EU's security of supply of petroleum products.
