On 21 December 2016 the Commission is opening a call for gas and electricity projects to be submitted as candidates for the third European Union 'Projects of Common Interest' (PCIs) list.
In accordance with the Regulation on guidelines for trans-European energy infrastructure (No 347/2013), candidate projects must be included in the Ten-Year Network Development Plans (TYNDP) developed by the European Network of Transmission System Operators for electricity (ENTSO-E) and gas (ENTSOG).
Promoters of TYNPD projects wishing to become PCIs are now invited to participate in the call by submitting an application via the on-line Project Portals of the ENTSOG and ENTSO-E that are available at here (for ENTSOG) and here (for ENTSO-E).
The promoters of the TYNDP projects will receive further information regarding the use of the on-line application tools from the respective ENTSO.
The call closes at midnight on 22 January 2017.
