A solid fuel boilers should come with an energy label indicating its energy efficiency on a scale from A++ (most efficient) to G (least efficient), applicable from 1 April 2017. This energy scale will be amended to the range of A+++ to D, from 26 September 2019. Packages of a solid fuel boiler, supplementary heaters, temperature controls and solar devices should come with an energy label indicating its energy efficiency on a scale from A+++ (most efficient) to G (least efficient), applicable from 1 April 2017.

The labels provide important information such as the company that made or placed the product on the market, the model, the energy efficient class, the rated heat output in kW, etc.

To affix the energy label on a product, please print with a minimum dimension of 105 mm x 200 mm (black frame); for the package labels, please affix with a minimum dimension of 210 mm x 297 mm.
