Lighthouse Solar collector brings the power of the big Solar power plants on the roof of every building and factory in order to reduce the use of fossil fuels and electricity for Heating & Cooling

The Robotic Concentrated Solar Thermal collector LIGHTHOUSE
uses Fresnel lenses, solar tracking and point focus in order to collect the solar energy, in the form of high temperature thermal energy that we can use for Heating & Cooling in buildings and factories at the local level, furthermore
the Smart Thermostat Caloric optimizes the use of Heat in wet heating systems.

He is the main product and SME INSTRUMENT proposal and deliverables developer.

Economic rationale / Business Model


Our Business Model is based on High Impact Cost Effective Products with extensive use of Subcontracting in Production and a very short Payback Period for the user.
Our First Target Market will be the buildings in Europe that their total surface sums up to the land size of Belgium.

Following the results of the Market Research, we expect high profits from the first years.

We estimate that we will need 1 million euro more than our own investment already made, to enter the Market in the following 2 years.
The project has 3 times the Seal of Excellence from HORIZON2020 SME Instrument Phase II, as a result a Grant co-financing is very possible.

The project is evaluated as excellent from the European Innovation Council and is very possible to be funded from Horizon2020 SME Instrument Phase II Grant and we are open to Investors in order to invest in the development and market replication of the project.

The promoter has received / applied for EU / EIB financing support related to this project.

Existing or potential bottlenecks for the realisation of the project / Potential risks

Inadequate funding would hold back the on-time project development. It is very important to proceed fast to the commercialization of Lighthouse Solar collector and secure a big global market share before the competition enters the market.

Project additional information

In order to be flexible and fail-proof, we have created a consortium.
Up to now all the development has been based on this consortium’s Scientific, Technical and Financial resources, with no external funding except the HORIZON2020 SME INSTRUMENT Phase I Grant.
The consortium is possible to be remodeled, in order to meet the upcoming challenges.
