The EIP-AGRI seminar ‘Multi-level strategies for digitising agriculture and rural areas’ welcomed 150 EU participants on 12-13 December 2018 in Antwerp, Belgium. After getting inspiration from the Andalucian digitisation strategy and 16 initiatives from all over Europe, participants discussed the most important objectives for strategic planning and were challenged to identify the main components of a strategic plan. The second day offered participants the possibility to set the agenda. During the open space session, they discussed benchmarking, knowledge & learning, communication & involvement, CAP strategic planning, data, design, governance, smart villages and multi-level approaches. Presentations, initiatives, seminar background information and a closing video message European Commissioner Phil Hogan are available on the event webpage.
Main findings of the seminar, including breakout sessions and open space discussions will be published in the seminar report, scheduled for April 2019.
