The Horizon 2020 thematic network 4D4F focuses on sensor techniques in dairy production systems. A research report, the result of an enquiry sent out to farmers, advisers and researchers in 9 European countries, looks at which type of sensors are most frequently being used and identified the needs for future research and development.
