The Open Farm Day TOUR 2016 for international partners

As the EIP-AGRI Network has become part of the EU CAP Network, this website will no longer be updated after 1 April 2023. It will remain available in a static form as a reference of all previous EIP-AGRI activities. On July 24th, 2016 the second national Open Farm Day is to take place. More than 100 farms and agricultural producers across Estonia are expected to open their farm doors to receive visitors. The visitors will be able to see large and small farms, exciting agricultural technology, various animals and plants. The visitors can taste real farm food and buy local products. Each farm has its own programme, displaying the farm’s particularities.

Estonian Rural Network Unit will organise the Open Farm Day Trip for collegues and international guests on 24-25 July 2016.

Collegues from Nordic-Baltic Region and EU countries, from National Rural Networks, Managing Authorities, Local Action Groups are welcome to discover Estonian farms and producers with us.

Programme will consist of visit to different kind of farms: small and big, milk production and alternative farms. We hope that the study tour will offer a good and realistic picture of rural life in Estonia.
