Conference of Partners of the EIP on AHA on 25 November

09/10/2013

The 2nd Conference of Partners of the European Innovation Partnership on Active and Healthy Ageing (EIP-AHA) will be held on 25th November in the European Commission's premises (Charlemagne building) in Brussels.

More than 500 participants are expected for our annual gathering, including national and regional authorities, researchers, health and social care professionals, industry, insurers and NGOs. The conference aims to foster a high level policy debate about how to best scale up innovation within the care systems in response to the demographic challenge and how to create the associated opportunities for new growth and jobs. A major input to this debate will be the results achieved by the 6 Action Groups in the last year and the evidence collected from the Reference Sites.

High level representatives of both national and regional governments will attend, as will the hosting Commissioners Mrs. Neelie Kroes, Vice President of the European Commission responsible for the Digital Agenda and Mr. Tonio Borg, European Commissioner for Health.

The final Conference program is now available. Attendance is by invitation only; if you wish to express your interest, please contact EC-EIP-AHA(at)ec.europa.eu.
