Webinar on web accessibility, 20th February 2019: presentation

Communication and dissemination activities are of crucial importance within the EIP on AHA community. They allow to get timely and accurate information about the Partnership outcomes, the evolution and progress of achievements, the announcement of events, the impacts of results, etc. Several channels are available and normally used for reaching different stakeholders and settings such as reports, agendas, infographics, visuals, PPT presentations, social media and the web.

Addressing active and healthy ageing and more generally themes affecting vulnerable groups of users, EIP on AHA should secure fair and effective accessibility to information. This is even more relevant considering the entering into force, on 22nd December 2016, of the Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 26 October 2016 on the accessibility of the websites and mobile applications of public sector bodies (please find the link to the Directive here: https://eur-lex.europa.eu/legal-content/EN/TXT/?uri=uriserv:OJ.L_.2016.327.01.0001.01.ENG&toc=OJ:L:2016:327:TOC

On 20th February 2019 Funka, as project coordinator of the WE4AHA CSA, organised a webinar for the EIP on AHA community to illustrate guiding principles that should be considered in designing and releasing documents, materials and web-based communication accessible by all.

Please find enclosed the PPT presentation illustrated during the webinar.
