WE4AHA thematic workshop: Implementing a comprehensive approach to integrated care

After a selection process carried out by Funka in coordination with the European Commission, the Reference Site Campania has been awarded with one of the 2019 EIP on AHA funded thematic workshops, that will be organised in Rome on the 3-4 December 2019 focusing on "Implementing comprehensive approach to integrated care".

The 2019 Conference of Partners of the EIP on AHA, held in Aarhus jointly with AAL community, highlighted the need to strengthen the ties between Reference Sites and Action Groups.

This is why A3 winter meeting has been jointly organised by the RSCN and A3 Action Group, with the objective of providing innovative responses to EU citizens' health unmet needs, based on the analysis of validated good practices developed within the EIP on AHA.

The update of the "Blueprint for the Digital Transformation of Health and Care" has provided the methodology to represent the unmet needs of citizens, based on ?personas?, a matrix developed for age and complexity. The response to unmet health needs requires the implementation of a series of actions at individual and population level, with a paradigmatic shift in the way our social and healthcare services are organized. This requires the alignment of political leadership and a greater commitment of the authorities involved in the digital transformation.

The purpose of the meeting is to identify and outline the "personas" requirement profiles to which the Reference Sites and Action Groups will provide a response, identifying the organizational, digital and socio-cultural elements that characterize good practices, in order to guarantee adoption at a local-regional level.
