A3 AG meeting - May, 14th – 16th 2019 - Copenhagen

Dear Partners,

On behalf of A3 coordination team we are pleased to invite you to next A3 F2F meeting that will be hosted by DTU Management Institute of the Technical Univ. of Denmark in Lyngby / Copenhagen next May, 14th – 16th 2019. Our Danish partners will also provide the opportunity to join the Conference on Active and Healthy Ageing 2019. The participation is free for AHA members, plus we have the opportunity to contribute with abstracts / posters that will be published / exhibited free of charge. We will catch the opportunity to get together for updates as a group. We suggest that the AHA A3 group have an internal meeting for members only for administrative and planning matters on April 14, 17.45-18.15 where a separate meeting room is available.

The organization is also offering free transportation to/from airport and downtown Copenhagen: please book your agenda, hotels and flights asap!  

Accommodation:  You can find some recommended hotels on the conference website, but you may find better options yourself. We will provide conference bus service between DTU/conference venue and 2 pick-up/drop-off spots in downtown Copenhagen, which may guide your hotel selection. We also recommend that you also register now for the conference at the site: www.conferencemanager.dk/aha2019  

Registration for AHA members is free, but you have to pay for dinner at venue and conference dinner downtown if you wish to join these events  (approx.. €30 and €59) which should be covered by your organisation's REACH budget.

We invite all AHA members to submit three types of input/presentations:

  1. a poster about any study or project within the target area of Active & Healthy Ageing (see instructions below)
  2. an exhibit of solutions/products/tangible-viewable object or process (see instructions below)
  3. an abstract proposal for an oral presentation on the 14th/15th May. Please send your proposal before April 23 to AHA@man.dtu.dk (Response by April 26). Please use the same guidance found under poster proposal guidance

At the conference Exhibition REACH project and AHA partners will have priority choice of exhibition stands. We expect a number of other smaller and larger businesses to exhibit. The exhibition will be open on May 15 from noon to 18:00.   

All exhibitors will fill out a 1-page form (Exhibition Request Form) which will be printed and distributed to all visitors.
