Activity details

Aim of the RISK-DIGIT Proposal will be to investigate the Technophobia in old population analysing the predictive and protective factors to overcome the low use of assistive technology among older adults in order to favorite the better adherence to digital living. Specific objectives will be: 1) to detect Technophobia phenomena in Italian old population by the evaluation of computer anxiety as covariate with psychological features 2) to analyse the mediator effect of cognitive and emotional competence in Technophobia mechanisms 3) to identify the mechanisms of change in active aging by technology use that influence the acceptance and adoption in general 4) to highlight the adverse changes adopting technology as telehealth, eHealth (electronic health technologies) and mHealth (mobile health technologies).
