BXL Interpreter Barcamp

An alternative to a classic conference: a participatory "unconference"

Event description

What is a barcamp?

Brussels finally gets its own interpreter barcamp!

There is no pre-set agenda and the event is shaped by participants. Topics are suggested and voted. They are then assigned a room and time. After that, anything can happen! It all depends on the speaker(s) and the discussions.

You can suggest a topic, pose a question to be discussed, share your experiences and expertise on a specific field… And when attending someone else’s session, you are expected to participate actively, so ask questions, offer to take notes and make suggestions.

Who can attend?

Our Barcamp is open to professional interpreters willing to actively participate in the debates. Some spots will also be allocated to final year students.
