The second issue in 2005 discusses recent economic developments and short-term prospects in the euro area. It also contains an analytical note reviewing recent developments in inflation. A first Focus section analyses the importance and the policy implications of growth differences within the euro area. A second Focus section discusses the links between the housing market and the business cycle.
