Graph of the week: What weakens public debt sustainability

Public finances in the EU today are more sustainable than they were at the onset of the crisis, with debt levels in the EU expected to continue decreasing from their peak in 2014. However challenges remain over the medium and long term notably because of high debt levels in some Member States and population ageing.
