“One day in class, the fan stopped working. So I decided to invent one and bring it with me.”
Fadi has a will, so we help him find a way.
In Lebanon, the majority of Syrian refugee children of school age are without access to education. Forced to work, to get married or simply denied access to schools, they are deprived of the right to education. The Shield project helps close that gap through educational and psycho-social support activities. It also shields the children from violence, abuse, exploitation and neglect. Special classes support children to enter formal schools.
The Shield project is funded by EU Humanitarian Aid and implemented by War Child Holland.
