Blockchain and distributed ledger technologies for SMEs
What can you get?
A consortium can receive grants of up € 1.5 million to increase the uptake of distributed ledger technologies by SMEs. In addition, as part of a consortium, you can also benefit from collaborating with international partners and from international audience for your project.
Who is it for?
This action is aimed at organisations providing innovation support to small- and medium sized enterprises (SMEs), such as clusters, innovation agencies, and other SME intermediaries.
What do we support?
This call for proposals offers the unique opportunity to test the opportunities and challenges of the uptake of digital ledger technology in the SMEs. The winning project will inspire SMEs to use blockchain technologies, to encourage intermediaries to develop blockchain expertise, and help draw lessons for policy makers.
At least 50% of your total proposed budget shall be allocated to financial support to third parties. The financial support to third parties will allow 20-30 SMEs to test concrete blockchain applications. Find out more in the Work programme, annex K in the Work programme, and the guidance note [coming soon].
How to apply?
Proposals must be submitted electronically using the electronic submission system of the Participant Portal. Note that if you want to participate in a project proposal, your organisation needs to be registered in the Beneficiary Register of the Participant Portal and have a 9-digit Participant Identification Code (PIC).
