Following the first edition in 2017 in Helsinki, SITRA (the Finnish Innovation Fund) organises -together with the Ministry of the Environment of Japan - the 2nd edition of the Forum in Yokohama, Japan from 22 to 24 of October.
On 24 October, EASME organizes a side event “EU going global: innovative solutions for circular services”. It will be the occasion to present to a worldwide audience ten new Horizon 2020 funded innovation actions. Through large-scale demonstration activities, they aim to develop business models that underpin new services for the circular economy, with the overall objective of positioning Europe as a front-runner in the transition to a circular economy society.
The side event will also provide the ongoing Horizon 2020 projects with the opportunity to scout for international markets and create global synergies. Projects will present their activities and discuss with potential partners and clients in dedicated settings.
