SME Instrument: 1534 proposals received under the January cut-off

For the first cut-off of 2017, EASME received 1534 Phase 2 projects proposals from 37 countries; most by Spanish (257), Italian (224) and British (144) companies.

 

ICT remained the most popular topic with 320 proposals, followed by Healthcare in biotechnology (237) that ranked higher than usual. January cut-off was the only opportunity in 2017 to submit proposals on clinical research for validation on biomarkers (challenge 5b under the Healthcare in biotechnology topic) that will be closed for the rest of the year.

Other popular topics were Energy (171), Transport (155) Eco-innovation & raw materials (124) and Agriculture & forestry (112).

Next cut-off is 15 February for Phase 1 and 6 April for Phase 2.

Challenge 5a and 5b

Could you please provide information how many proposals have been submitted under the healthcare biotechnology challenge 5a or respectively 5b?

    Phase 2 results delayed

    It was mentioned on H2020 Tweeter account that the results for Phase 2 would be announced late due to some technical difficulties. Do you know how long the delay is?
