The Overseas Trade Fairs Programme, a part of the EIC SME Instrument business acceleration services, organises the participation of delegations of SMEs in renowned international Trade Fairs to support the international commercialisation of their innovations.

Since January 2018, SMEs participating in FET-Open and in Fast Track to Innovation (FTI), the two programmes that form the European Innovation Council (EIC) alongside the SME Instrument, are eligible to apply to OTF under the same conditions as those for SME Instrument companies (being selected or waitlisted, and, having a signed grant agreement by the application deadline).

Do you want to join the exclusive group of 116 SMEs who have so far participated in the Overseas Trade Fairs programme and held 1500+ B2B meetings with selected counterparts at 9 trade fairs around the world?

Watch our short video for more information and testimonials.

Nordic 24/7 CEO Veli Eloranta summarised the added value of the programme as follows: “Few SMEs can allocate sufficient resources on their own to achieve the high value presence and attention at the exhibitions attended by the programme. The OTF programme makes this possible”. He is very positive about the outcome of MIHAS 2017, on which you can find more information here.

Cardlab’s CEO Frank Sandelov, highlighted that the OTF presence at CES brought them “Exactly what they hoped for”. More information about the Overseas Programme at CES 2018.

For the final three fairs, in 2018, the Overseas Trade Fairs programme will have a European pavilion of 100m² with 15 exhibiting SMEs. We would like to see you exhibiting your company and innovative project on our pavilion. What we have to offer:

  • a free booth of 5m² (value of around 5,000 EUR) on the European Pavilion;
  • up to 1,000 EUR reimbursement (travel, accommodation, services and more);
  • promotion of your company in the targeted market and neighbouring countries;
  • at least 15 meaningful business  meetings  with relevant business counterparts, among other services.

If you are interested to learn more about these Trade Fairs or the Overseas Trade Fairs programme, please register here to attend a Webinar on Tuesday 17th April, from 10:00 – 11:30 CET. The applications are accepted until the 25th of May.
