The ever-growing digital EIC Community can now meet online. Companies funded by the European Innovation Council’s pilot — namely, Horizon 2020 SME Instrument, Fast track to innovation, FET Open and Horizon Prizes programmes — will now be able to make new connections, share ideas and meet potential partners and investors in a brand new dedicated digital space.
The new EIC Community platform aims to become a one-stop-shop for the EIC pilot alumni, investors and corporates, where they can interact with one another based on profile, interests and business goals. It will also act as a gateway for all Business Acceleration services, including registration for the events, contacts and feedback.
EIC funded companies will be able to exchange information with peers through stories, thematic search and discussions. The platform will also allow them to list their current business objectives on their profile and participate in the ScaleUp EU tool — an automated match-making service based on company and investor profiles.
Another interesting feature to be offered by the EIC Community moderators is a curated list of events that are organised or promoted by the members in groups, thus giving access to relevant opportunities to all EIC pilot beneficiaries.
Once launched, the platform will be open to EIC pilot companies, support community, including project officers, members of the EIC Phase 2 evaluation jury and business coaches, and investors operating in Horizon 2020 countries. Invitations to join the platform will be sent to all beneficiaries and support services. If you don’t have access, but feel like you fit the profile, contact the support team through the EIC Community.
