On 27 and 28 November, Ferrovial will host a networking event for companies funded by European Innovation Council (EIC) pilot. 21 companies have been selected to present their sustainable approaches to urban mobility, user experience (airports and toll roads), energy efficiency and new technologies for the construction sector. The event will take place at Impact Hub Gobernador in Madrid, Spain.
Connecting SMEs with large corporates is the underlying strategy of the Corporate Days organised by the EIC pilot Business Acceleration Services. This event follows other successful events with big corporates like Solvay, Electrolux and Suez. The primary objective is to create opportunities for business development and partnerships that can help companies funded under the EIC pilot to scale-up their business, increase their revenue and create jobs.
Ferrovial’s innovation strategy works on an open innovation model, based on cooperation with external partners who are capable of complementing company needs and capacities, with the aim of accelerating the deployment of new solutions and processes to the market. This event is an exciting opportunity for SMEs to start doing business with one of the world’s leading infrastructure operators and municipal services companies.
Ferrovial employs more than 95,000 employees and is present in 6 main markets. It is a member of Spain’s blue-chip IBEX 35 index and is also included in sustainability indices such as the Dow Jones Sustainability Index and FTSE4Good.
