18 companies backed by the European Innovation Council (EIC) pilot and working in the fields of electric mobility, connected transportation, and intelligent supply chains explore business opportunities with MAN Truck & Bus on 19 March in Munich.

85 companies applied to take part in a business acceleration event with MAN Truck & Bus in Munich. 18 of them were selected to present their ideas in front of 150 leading MAN employees and Group partners. Travelling from the 12 different countries, the participants showcased ideas, prototypes, and products ranging from electric trucks to cargo bikes.

“Florian Stehbeck, Digital Innovation Manager at MAN Truck & Bus and responsible for startup collaboration, talked about the drivers for such an event: “At MAN Truck & Bus, we have always driven innovation – it’s simply part of our DNA! And as we constantly strive to explore new business opportunities, we know that there are many interesting solutions on the market which we could explore and either integrate into our existing products, services and processes or build new business models with. On our way to becoming not only a leading vehicle manufacturer, but a leading transport & logistics player with completely new digital solutions, we know that startups can be the right partners to work with.”
