“The SME Corporate Day we are hosting in collaboration with the European Innovation Council pilot is a great opportunity for us to exchange ideas and learn with the entrepreneurs showcasing their companies. At a time when Medtronic is celebrating the life and legacy of our founder, the late Earl Bakken, we should remind ourselves that Medtronic was also once a start-up – over sixty years ago. Today, as a leader in the world of medical technology, it is crucial for us to remember our humble beginnings, and to keep our doors and our minds open to innovation and collaboration with exciting new companies”, Rob ten Hoedt, Executive Vice-President and President, EMEA, Medtronic.
