CELLINK partnerships and acquisitions complement strong organic growthBased in Gothenburg, Sweden, CELLINK is developing bioprinting technology with a focus on making it easy to use for non-experts. Founded in 2016, Cellink went straight to an IPO on Nasdaq First North that year, raising €360,000 (SEK 3.7M). In 2018 the company received a Phase 2 grant from the EIC pilot SME Instrument of € 2.4 million.
277 innovators selected for funding under EIC’s SME InstrumentA total of 277 small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) form 25 countries have been selected for funding under the latest round of the SME Instrument, in the so-called Phase 1 of the programme. The companies will receive a total amount of €13.7 million to share between their projects to get their innovations faster on the market.

On 26 March, a total of 29 entrepreneurs had the chance to pitch their solutions and engage in bilateral meetings with corporate representatives in Lisbon.
