Horizon 2020 Energy Efficiency provides support for innovation through research and demonstration of more energy-efficient technologies and solutions; and market uptake measures to remove market and governance barriers by addressing financing, regulations and the improvement of skills and knowledge.

    UN Climate Change Conference COP24, Katowice, 2-14 December 2018

    This year, several Horizon 2020 and LIFE funded projects will participate at the 24th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change. The conference will be held from 2 to 14 December in Katowice, Poland. The Executive Agency for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (EASME) is an organiser of a side-event on raising ambition in the low-carbon transition on 6 December, chaired by EASME’s Director, Julien Guerrier. Julien Guerrier will also take part in the Energy Day on 11th December and talk about Horizon 2020 funded projects that are contributing to the decentralisation of the energy system.
