The EIC Accelerator (previously SME Instrument) is part of the European Innovation Council (EIC) pilot that supports top class innovators, entrepreneurs and small companies with funding opportunities and acceleration services. The main focus of the EIC Accelerator is on market-creating innovations that shape new markets and generate jobs, growth and higher standards of living.

    EIC Planet.tech interview with Advisory Board Member Jim Hagemann Snabe

    Last week, 3 and 4 June, saw the kick-off of yet another new EIC-initiative, Planet.tech, an event focused on EU Green Deal-challenges. It brought together 28 EIC-backed start-ups/scale-ups with four large corporates, namely AB InBEV, Deme, Nestle and P&G, with the objective to develop a number of Proof of Concepts (PoC) and enhance the cooperation between all parties.

    EIC Corporate Day with BBVA and Ferrovial: exploring new roads for cooperation

    The European Innovation Council (EIC), in collaboration with BBVA and Ferrovial, organised an online Corporate Day on 26 and 27 May 2020, bringing together 19 EIC-backed SMEs with over 50 corporates representatives. The online Corporate Day was the second event of its kind to be organised this month and gave SMEs and corporate representatives the opportunity to find synergies and explore business opportunities and further collaborations.
