    Pursuing social goals through public procurement

    Can public procurement have a social mission? This is the aim of “Buying for Social Impact (BSI)” launched by the European Commission. The initiative encourages contracting authorities to pursue social goals through public procurement, and helps social economy enterprises access new markets. Fifteen EU countries have already benefited from training sessions and knowledge sharing for contracting authorities and social economic enterprises.
