EASME - Executive Agency for SMEs

The Executive Agency for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (EASME) has been set-up by the European Commission to manage on its behalf several EU programmes in the fields of SME support & innovation, environment, climate action, energy and maritime affairs.

    EIC Innovation Training Workshop: Connecting research to the real world

    On 13 and 14 May the European Innovation Council hosted an Innovation Training Workshop for projects from the EIC Pathfinder programme, previously known as Future and Emerging Technologies (FET) programme. During these two days, 13 participants had the opportunity to help shape their research ideas and bring it into a concrete business concept. This was also the first Business Acceleration Services event dedicated to Pathfinder researchers.

    EIC Corporate Day with Enel: powering up your business online

    On 12 May the European Innovation Council organised its first online Corporate Day, with Enel, the global energy company. Originally planned as a physical event to be held in March, it was fully digitalised for the convenience of the participating SMEs and corporate representatives. 33 EIC-backed SMEs had the chance to pitch their innovations in the field of renewable energy, smart cities and grid solutions, among others. Over 40 Enel representatives took part in listening to the pitches and scouting projects.
