The EU has ended roaming surcharges for all people who travel periodically within the EU. Roaming charges have been gradually reduced starting from 2006. Since 15 June 2017, people pay only domestic charges.
Roaming charges have changed sensibly overtime thanks to the work of the EC.

As of 15 June 2017, Roam like at home becomes a reality. People can now use mobile devices when travelling in the EU, paying the same prices as at home.
