The scheme also has the backing of the Cutler’s Company, Sheffield’s key industry foundation, as part of its ‘Made in Sheffield’ educational initiative, which also promotes ambassador schemes in healthcare and engineering.
Commencing October 2013, the University of Sheffield is looking for 8 UK employers to join them in hosting site visits covering a range of digital employment types, and in supporting a hands-on software development challenge that will form part of the scheme. They are also keen to share and validate our approach with other universities and IT employers in member states.
