EU ministers commit to digitising Europe with high-performance computing power
Ministers from seven European countries (France, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Portugal and Spain) have signed in Rome a declaration to support the next generation of computing and data infrastructures, a European project of the size of Airbus in the 1990s and of Galileo in the 2000s.
EU and EEA Member States sign up for cross border experiments on cooperative, connected and automated mobility
29 European countries, Members of the European Union and of the European Economic Area, have signed a Letter of Intent to intensify cooperation on testing of automated road transport in cross border test sites. This initiative drives forward the plans of the Commission's strategy to build a European Data Economy announced in January 2017.
