Are you a policy maker, public procurer, International Standardisation Organisation or industry player that is interested in ICT standards in public procurement? Don't miss this workshop organised by the European Commission where the prototype of the European Catalogue of Standards for ICT Procurement will be presented.
The European Commission is collecting data from key public procurers with potential interest in procuring new innovative ICT based solutions in the coming years. The results will help to prioritise the allocation of funding for innovation procurement under the next Horizon 2020 Work Programme (2018 – 2020). A summary of the responses that were already received by mid-October 2016 has been published now. The survey remains open until end 2017 via the eafip website to cross-check in one year time if the funding priorities for 2019-2020 are still in line with the actualised procurement needs.
In October 2016 the Flanders region in Belgium adopted a new action plan for innovation procurement. The new action plan is based on a smart combination of pre-commercial procurement (PCP) and public procurement of innovative solutions (PPI) and foresees co-financing for Flemish procurers to kick-start 5 new PCP and 10 PPI lighthouse projects in 2017.
This event, an initiative of European Business Summit, will focus on the digital future of Europe with sessions on digital innovation industry, on Cyber space and security for business and customers and on the digital evolution for jobs.
