The DESI Connectivity indicators measure the deployment of broadband infrastructure and its quality. The high-speed broadband coverage and take-up in Europe is growing steadily. As for 2016, 76% of European homes can access high-speed broadband (at least 30 Mbps) and over one third of them already subscribed to it. In Belgium for example, over 80% of fixed internet subscriptions are high-speed. Read more
