The new Horizon 2020 EURO-CAS project has just been launched. Its aim is to deliver a eHealth Conformity Assessment Scheme for Europe in 2018. This will pave the way for more eHealth interoperability in Europe and it will promote the adoption and take-up of interoperability testing of eHealth solutions against identified eHealth standards and profiles defined in the eHealth European Interoperability Framework (eEIF). NIGHTINGALE mobilises a buyers group of University Medical Center Utrecht (NL), Stockholms Laens Landsting (SE), University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (UK) and Catholic University Leuven (BE). They are looking for robust early warning systems for acute deterioration of patients' health condition in and out of hospital that learn and adapt to individuals in different situations.
